Cookie policy

Short version: this website sets no cookies and tracks nothing. It remembers one thing on your device — whether you chose light or dark. The product sets a small number of strictly necessary cookies, because you cannot stay signed in without them.

1. This website

getsweaty.com.au is a set of static pages. It does not set cookies and does not run analytics, advertising or social media trackers. Fonts and images are served from our own domain, so loading a page here does not tell any third party that you visited.

One thing is stored on your device. If you choose light or dark mode using the switcher in the footer, that choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key getsweaty-theme, so the site does not flash the wrong theme on your next visit. It holds a single word — light, dark or system— it is never sent to us or to anyone else, and it cannot identify you. Clearing your site data removes it, and the site falls back to your operating system’s appearance setting.

Because that preference is strictly functional and nothing here tracks you, there is no consent banner to click and nothing for you to opt out of.

The pre-launch waitlist form sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device. It posts what you typed to our own domain and nowhere else. What we do with it is set out in the privacy policy.

2. The product

The GetSweaty platform is a signed-in application, and it uses a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work:

PurposeWhy it existsType
Authentication sessionKeeps you signed in between page loads and protects your account from session hijacking.Strictly necessary
Security tokensProtects form submissions and sign-in flows against cross-site request forgery.Strictly necessary
Interface preferencesRemembers small choices such as whether the navigation sidebar is open and which company you last worked on.Functional

We do not use cookies on the product for advertising, cross-site tracking or profiling.

3. Managing this

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and local storage through its settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to the product. Clearing site data for this website only forgets your light or dark mode choice; nothing else is stored, so nothing else is lost.

4. Changes

If we ever introduce analytics or any non-essential cookie on this website, we will update this page first and ask for consent before setting anything. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
